Approximately
15 hours of instruction can be completed over three months. Passing
of one exam is required to receive an electronic certificate of completion.
This module covers issues regarding the manufacture of door frames,
how sizes are determined, the materials used, along with shipping, and
distribution issues. It also includes a review of the many types of
doors and the construction of each type. Students learn the terms used
to describe doors, the parts of doors, how doors are constructed, and
their application.
Both the
chapter text from Millwork Principles and Practices and the workbook
lesson are included in this printed book. The material is presented
in a flexible format that allows for independent study, classroom,
seminar, or distance education.
